Full flexibility when building a flight model - that is what the LT 200 Flex offers. A glider model or an electric glider model can be built from the kit. The matching sets of frames are included for a motor drive, and a shapely nose is made of balsa for the sailor version. As a control variant, three options can be built with this model - with pure 2-axis control via height / side, as 3-axis control with additional ailerons or as a 4-flap wing with camber / brake flaps. This means that the LT 200 Flex can be created as a RES model or as a fully developed thermal glider from the kit. The construction is based almost entirely on a wooden construction, with the exception of the fuselage arm made of thin-walled CFRP. The fuselage is built in a layered construction from lasered wooden parts. The wings are made of an easy-to-build rib construction and are completely planked, eliminating the need to cover them with foil. The wing profile allows a very slow style of flight and also enables the use of thermals and updrafts even at low altitude. The airbrakes enable a vertical descent without any noticeable increase in airspeed. The LT 200 Flex appeals not only to experienced model pilots who have always wanted to own a multi-flap wing for cozy topics, but also to young model builders who have already made their first experiences in building wooden models (e.g. with the Lilienthal 40 RC) and now want to go higher . Due to the intuitive construction and construction instructions designed for young people, this model is also suitable for assemblies in clubs, e.g. as a joint winter construction project. The kit contains all precisely lasered wooden parts for the assembly, as well as small parts for the rudder linkages, wing attachment, servo board, slipway for the construction of the fuselage and wings, construction instructions with 3D construction stage drawings.
