The Greek fishing trawler Santorin is made entirely of wood. For this, all components are precisely cut with the laser and therefore hardly require any rework. The hull is planked with A-TEX, a new and unique building material that is very easy to work with and that gives the hull the necessary strength. The sun protection is built from etched parts and covered with the enclosed sun sail. The prototypical character of the Santorini is underlined by the net winch and the wooden boxes for the caught fish. The kit is equipped with high-quality etched parts, which give the Santorini a very realistic appearance on any body of water with its many fine details. In addition to a steering wheel and airspeed indicator, there is also a digital display for echo sounder or navigation in the steering position. The colorful original boats in the Mediterranean area give the free color design of this model a variety of design options. The model is set up on a scale of approx. 1:15, so that a number of accessories and additional equipment are available. The large opening in the fuselage allows easy access to the RC components.
